At what age does my son or daughter not need a helmet to ride with me?
18 years old, but a helmet is always a good idea
At what age can my son or daughter drive?
16 with a valid driver’s license and safety certificate (if required)
Do I need a safety certificate to drive an ATV/UTV?
Yes, if you were born on or after 1988 you need one.
Do I need a trail sticker to ride in your area?
No, but everyone does need current DNR registration.
If I have an issue with someone operating an ATV/UTV who can I contact.

Can I ride in the road right away?
NO! You can only ride on the paved surface on designated routes.
Do my head and tail lights need to be on while riding?
Yes, headlights must be on at all times.
Can I take a passenger with me?
Yes and No, ATV operators cannot have a passenger riding in or on any part of an ATV that is not designed or intended to be used by passengers.
